Emily VanCamp

Emily Irene VanCamp is a Canadian actor who is known for her lead roles in numerous television series and for her enthralling acting in films. Both Canadian and American TV are fans of Emily VanCamp. When Emily was 12, she began to become interested in acting after she visited her older sister Katie on the set of one of her movies. When she realized her love in the world of acting she enrolled herself in classes to learn about it and started to audition. After some commercials, which were successful, she was quickly cast in the Canadian kids' horror TV show Are You terrified of Dark? She was only seen in one scene, without dialogue. The WB program Glory Days, she received her first major break when she was just 15 years old. Emily's performance caught the eye from Dawson's creek's Greg Berlanti, who then invited her to his TV show Everwood. Emily, who is also a ballerina and photographer was named by Teen magazine as one of the best actresses younger than 20. The Maxim's Hot 100 2014 list ranked her as number 51.
